Who We Are
ADHDeadline is built and operated by Jeremy Smyth (RavenOps). Contact: [email protected]
What We Collect
We collect only what's needed to run the app:
- Account data — email address and password hash (if you create an account for Pro sync)
- Subscription status — whether you're on Free or Pro, managed via Stripe
- AI usage — count of AI Plans used per month (to enforce free tier limits)
- Task history — stored locally on your device by default; synced to our servers only if you enable cross-device sync (Pro)
We do not collect your task content for any purpose other than sync. We never read your tasks.
What We Don't Collect
- Health or medical data
- Location data
- Contacts or photos
- Browsing history or cross-app tracking
- Any data from children under 13
Local Storage (Free Tier)
On the free tier, all data (task history, settings, theme, AI usage count) is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage or the native app's local storage. Nothing is sent to our servers. Clearing your app data or uninstalling removes all of it.
Stripe (Payments)
Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe stores payment details per their own privacy policy.
AI Features
The AI Plan feature sends your goal text to OpenRouter (cloud AI) when the on-device model isn't available. Your goal text is used solely to generate task steps and is not stored or used for training. On-device AI (WebLLM) processes everything locally with no data leaving your device.
Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Stripe retains payment records per their legal obligations.
Your Rights
- Access — request a copy of your data
- Delete — delete your account and all associated data (delete account page)
- Correct — update your email address via support
- Port — export your task history (coming soon)
GDPR, CCPA, and App Store privacy requirement compliant. To exercise any right: [email protected]
Push Notifications
We use push notifications only to remind you of active deadlines you've set. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings. We don't send marketing notifications without explicit opt-in.
Third-Party Services
- Stripe — payment processing
- OpenRouter — cloud AI fallback
- Google Fonts — typography (cached after first load)
Changes to This Policy
We'll notify you of material changes via email (if you have an account) and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
